Naturopathic medicine looks at your health through a whole-person lens. Instead of only asking, “What can we do for this symptom right now?”, we also ask, “Why might this be happening, what else is connected, and what can we do to support your body over time?”
Care may include nutrition, lifestyle support, lab testing, supplements, acupuncture, and prescription medications when appropriate. Naturopathic care can work alongside conventional medicine and is not meant to replace urgent care, specialist care, or your family doctor.

Your first visit is a chance for us to understand the full picture. We will review your main concerns, health history, current medications and supplements, lifestyle, diet, sleep, stress, digestion, hormones, and any previous testing.
Depending on your concerns, we may discuss updated blood work or additional testing that could help guide care. The goal of the first visit is to understand your priorities and decide on the most useful next steps.
-
Please bring or upload any recent blood work, imaging reports, specialist letters, medication and supplement lists, and previous diagnoses. It can also be helpful to bring notes about your main symptoms, triggers, flares, injuries, and what you most want help with.
This helps us use the visit time more effectively.

Yes, virtual appointments may be available when appropriate for your concern and location. Some assessments, physical exams, or treatments may require an in-person visit.
For new patients, we can discuss whether virtual or in-person care is the better fit.

Many extended health plans include coverage for naturopathic visits. Coverage varies depending on your plan, so it is best to check with your insurance provider for your annual amount, percentage covered, and whether lab testing or other services are included.
Payment is made at the time of your visit, and you will receive a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider if eligible.

In British Columbia, naturopathic doctors must pass licensing exams and meet provincial regulatory requirements to practice.
